Nutritional Analysis
In the 2015 NCHS, Steve Brown noted that AAFCO’s and the European equivalent nutritional requirements for dogs and cats are about half, if not one-third that of what the ancestral diet is. He also noted that the only way to achieve the same levels would be to feed 100% wild game and that there are very few pet parents who would have access to that.
